The goal of the briefing is to develop a concrete and identical idea with the client, which properties (experience, knowledge and personality) a candidate needs, to fill the vacancy the best way possible.
Job specifications
The briefing is the basis for the formulation of a written job specification and an appropriate search strategy. This synopsis is part of the written offer that defines the contractual aspects of a mandate.
Target List
In close consultation with the client, we create the target list, which contains a comprehensive number of firms, in which we expect to find qualified candidates. The binding exclusion of customers and partners protects your business connections.
Identification of potential candidates
To identify potential candidates an intensive and discrete search is carried out on the market. At this stage, there is no direct contact with potential candidates yet. The result of the search is a so called "Long List" of potential candidates to fill a position.
First contact and Interview
Only after consultation with the client, the identified candidates will be addressed directly and their willingness to change is identified. Application documents of the candidates are examined and essential characteristics of the candidates will be determined in structured telephone interviews.
Assessment and preselection
In case of a positive evaluation of the initial contact and the application documents, an assessment follows: A personal, structured interview with the candidates gives profound information about their suitability and motivation. A detailed report will be written and documented with relevant evaluations about the results of the preselection.
Presentation
On the basis of the report, appointments are arranged with the client's favorite candidates.
Dr. Klaus Boeckenhoff executive search takes on the role of the mediator and will ensure that candidate
and client can present themselves properly and get a realistic picture of each other. For verification,
we obtain references about the candidate. If there is a real interest in an employment, a second
interview is arranged to negotiate the contractual arrangements.
Completion of a contract and aftercare
If an employment contract is signed, the search process is completed successfully.
With the consent of the client, Dr. Klaus Boeckenhoff executive search accompanies
the integration process into the company.
If contrary to the expectation, the candidate´s contract is terminated for non-operational
reasons during the first six months , Dr. Klaus Boeckenhoff executive search will
resume the search process free of charge.
